allbedestroyed: (Working things out)

Getting to see her reaction tells Muldoon quite a bit. He's starting to realise that he should probably take a few steps back before throwing her into the miracle of science she's about to see. But first, he cannot deny her curiosity.

"We used various calculations based on body mass, and then adjusted several times after trial and error." It sounds pretty clinical, but Muldoon's been trained on the party line. Throwing in official language sounds better than 'we guessed and corrected after we discovered we were wrong', which is essentially what it boiled down to. Hammond wasn't too happy with him phrasing it like that, though, and he's been scolded enough to tweak what he says.

Having answered her, he tilts his head slightly and asks a question of his own. "How much do you know about dinosaurs?"
