Filincophyta had been spotted and it had taken people entirely too long to identify the plants as nonnative. If one species was there there were bound to be more, and there had been. Others were identified and it meant an expert had to be called in and this close to an InGen incident site there was only one person under their thumb enough to call.
But be damned if she was willing to go in alone, Ellie agreed with a few important caveats. She was going in well armed, well supplied, with a plan and with the best guide that money and experience could provide. If they couldn't get Muldoon to agree she was out. Imagine her surprise that Robert agreed, she was locked into this thing and no had to follow through.
Ellie arrived with minimal baggage, and prepped for travel. She immediately began looking for her contact and spotted him looking cool as anything studiously going over a map. "Knew I could count on you." She said under her breath and with a smile. Ellie made her way over and dropped her hat right on his map.
"Doctor Livingston, I presume." She smirked at him, hand on her hip just happy as hell to see him.
